No time for COPouts at COP26
by global know-mad /
Maybe inability to coalesce myriad amazing, preexisting solutions into a globally cohesive and orchestrated ClimateCrisis game-plan isn’t environmental but environMental. From funding to distribution, fragmented, staggered, chaotically manufactured solutions mount regionally worldwide (e.g. the inspiring below article re Thailand). It’s that very same weakness with COVID whose speedy recovery genius only arrives when stakes are high enough. A multinational global body’s phenom potential lives more like a cripple; as disjointed, disorganised national bodies splinter their inherent value to the whole. All for One or None for All is our global wakeup call, with the patient’s pressing pre-existing conditions awaiting application of pre-existing solutions. Weak liver in Africa, weak kidney in Asia, weak heart in America, weak lung in Europe etc. How to unhinge global gridlock & administer agreed upon overall treatment is the DGC elephant-in-the-room (Destructive Global Competition). If COP26 targets most promising worldwide projects with action plan appropriated to most urgent nation-specific weak spots – and applies e.g.John Bunzl’s Simpol (Simultaneous Policy) – it can unblock clogged arteries & advance miraculoUs slowdown of this climactic climate countdown.
